Accommodations

For most of its history, the YMCA of Honolulu has been known for offering inexpensive accommodations as part of the YMCA mission to serve the community.

Nestled in three, convenient locations the YMCA of Honolulu offers low rates for room accommodations. In addition, guests are offered complimentary access to the fitness facility. Our friendly, local Welcome Center staff can direct you to the many points of interest within walking distance. Each branch is located on Central Oahu and is near bus transportation.

Atherton

Located right across from Oahu's own University of Hawaii Manoa's Upper Campus, the Atherton YMCA offers affordable housing to students of all ages. The Charles H. Atherton and Mary Atherton Richards Houses are a traditional 79 space co-ed dormitory for men and women attending an accredited college on Oahu. Residents here enjoy air conditioned lounge and study room, as well as a common rec area with xbox, television, wi-fi, pool, and ping pong. Don't forget that there is a coffee shop in the building as well as a frozen yogurt shop next door!

The Central YMCA offers rooms for men, women and couples; two floors for men only, one floor for women only, and one mixed floor. Guests can choose from single or double bed rooms and private or community bathroom and shower options. There is plenty to see and do in the area, such as walking to the beach or the popular Ala Moana Shopping Center. Guests of the Central YMCA are also welcome to enjoy the fitness facility and pool. There is a cafe in the building as well as lots of restaurants just across the street.

Nu'uanu

Guests who are tourists, residents and students alike will enjoy the Nu'uanu YMCA's location. Near local attractions such as Iolani Palace, business destinations like the Downtown area, and schools like HPU and UH Manoa, the Nu'uanu YMCA's location alleviates a lot of the stress caused by traffic. Conveniently located across the street from a local grocery store and pharmacy, the Nu'uanu Y also offers nearby access to restaurants and convenience stores, including a cafe right in the building! Guests of the Nu'uanu branch will have access to the fitness facility and pool. Other nearby hotspots include Fort Street Mall, Aloha Tower, and Restaurant Row. Guests interested in Bishop Museum, Ala Moana and Ward Shopping Centers, or visiting the beach will find that it is a quick commute via public transportation.
